The Latest on the New Whirlpool Duet Washers and Dryers

The new versions of Whirlpool Duet Washers and Dryers carry on Whirlpool’s tradition of delivering upscale machines with unique features that add convenience, energy savings, and water conservation. These features include:

  • Precision Dispense Ultra – This feature senses the size of each wash load and dispenses exactly the amount of detergent and other additives necessary for the best cleaning result possible. An owner can actually fill the dispenser with the equivalent of 12 wash loads worth of detergent knowing that each load will use the right amount of detergent every time.
  • Dynamic Venting Technology – This feature allows for loads to stay in the washer for extended periods of time by continuing to tumble at regular intervals for up to twelve hours. This feature eliminates the need for repeat washes if loads are forgotten or stay in overnight.
  • The Advance Moisture System – This feature uses built-in sensors to measure temperature and the moisture levels of the load in the dryer, which reduces shrinkage and fading.
  • Eco Boost – Eco Boost monitors wash and dry loads and lowers water temperatures in the washer and air temperatures in the dryer whenever possible. This results in the cleanest laundry possible combined with water and energy savings.

The newest line of Whirlpool Duet washers and dryers combines efficiencies found in front loading machines with technological advances that maximize savings in water and energy usage, translating into lower monthly bills. Additionally, timesavings can be realized with the Dynamic Venting Technology, which negates the need to wait for wash loads to finish so that they can be moved immediately to the dryer. This technology keeps wash loads fresh for hours, allowing for time to leave the house without the worry of having re-washing a load.

Lastly, Whirlpool Duet washers and dryers are legendary for their reliability. Their durability, efficiency, and money saving features are the reason that consumer magazines recognize this appliance line on a regular basis as a best buy in various categories. The Appliances that Get Samsung Dealers Excited About Doing Laundry

Why would Samsung dealers get excited about something as mundane as doing laundry? The answer lies in the futuristic innovations that come standard with their King sized Capacity - Touch Screen - LCD - Front Loading Washers and Dryers. These machines are both built to send notifications to your smart phone, via a wireless router and a smartphone application, at the completion of the washing and drying cycles. This exciting app means that you can control each process and access the status of wash and dry loads whether you are at home, shopping, or at a local sporting event.

Each machine comes with additional features as well.

The LCD Washer's features include:

  • Speed Spray – This feature speeds up washing cycles by up to fifteen minutes using cleansing jets that spray a water and detergent mixture directly on to clothes in the wash load. Rinsing is sped up as well by draining the basin and rinsing the wash load at the same time. The result is a cycle time that is up to 25 percent shorter.
  • Power Foam – The Power Foam utility generates cleansing foam that penetrates materials in the wash load for a deeper clean. The foam cleaning process also enables this washer to take on larger pieces like comforters in a single load.
  • The Industry's Largest 8" color LCD touch screen – This component features customized cycle types that can be chosen to best suit the nature of the wash load, whether it's for grass stains, grease, cooking oil, etc.
  • King sized capacity – At 4.5 cubic feet, this washer can clean almost two and a half full laundry baskets, a huge time saver.

The LCD Dryer's additional features include:

  • Steam Dry – The Steam Dry feature keeps clothes fresh in the dryer while minimizing wrinkles.
  • Smart Care – This allows access via a wireless router and a smartphone application to monitor performance and troubleshoot the dryer remotely.
  • Vent Sensor – This feature provides reminders to clean the lint filter to maximize drying efficiency.
  • An 8" color LCD touch screen – This innovation hosts 14 different drying cycle options customized to the load in the dryer. Options include sheets, blankets, delicates, normal loads, bulky loads, and so much more.

With all these features, the future is now, Samsung dealers are excited about it, and doing laundry with your smart phone is now a reality. For more information on the futuristic innovations available in Samsung's LCD washers and dryers, visit: Jessup's Major Appliance Centers.

Samsung Products that Rock the Kitchen

The Samsung electric convection oven is one of the Samsung products that has what it takes to make a kitchen rock with a full roster of innovations that make cooking easier, provide a long list of cooking options, and deliver meals to feed family, friends and relatives. The oven is also beautiful, designed with a fast heating 5-element ceramic and glass cook top. Design and technological advances include:

* An expanded cooking capacity that makes this oven one of the largest in its class. With 5.9 cubic feet of cooking space the oven is suitable for cooking large meals for special events and holidays. Another oven in the Samsung line, the Flex Duo Oven, starts with the same 5.9 cubic feet of cooking space but has the added feature of being able to be divided into 2 ovens. This feature allows for different dishes to be cooked simultaneously at differing temperatures, if necessary.

* A design innovation that has enclosed the heating element in the oven. This reduces the chances of accidental burns while reaching into the oven and eliminates spills that get permanently baked on to hot exposed surfaces inside the oven.

* SteamQuick, a feature that steam cleans the oven to a spotless state within approximately twenty minutes. Steam cleaning starts by pouring a little over a cup of water into the oven and pushing the start button. Residues inside the oven can then be wiped down with ease.

* Professional quality convection cooking with the Surround Airvection convection cooking system. The system employs three fans to ensure even heating and cooking in the oven. The oven also has sensors to regulate heating so that temperatures stay where they are supposed to be.

* A multi-setting warming drawer that keeps meals moist, flavorful, and at the right serving temperature.

The Samsung convection oven is built with craftsmanship and innovations that make cooking easy, whether the meal is serving two people or the entire family for a holiday dinner. Additionally, even temperatures throughout the oven will ensure that casseroles, meats, and baked items are done right every time. Samsung Products for the Kitchen of the Future

Technological advancements in Samsung products have made it possible to build the kitchen of the future today. We may have to wait a little longer for wireless electricity that is sent via transmitters located under the counter to eliminate the need for electrical cords. We’ll also have to wait a little longer for cabinetry that can change color, play recorded television shows, and play movies with the flip of a switch.
What is available now are Samsung products that add high tech to the kitchen while making cooking easier, saving resources, and keeping food fresher longer. These appliances include:

The New Samsung Refrigerators

The new line of Samsung refrigerators, in addition to its gorgeous design and increased storage capacity, runs eight different apps via a touch screen computer on its front door. These apps include:

* A Google Calendar – The touch screen appears once the calendar app is selected
* A Memo Pad – This app uses the touch screen as well and allows notes to be hand-written with a fingertip or a stylus pen
* A photo slideshow that runs while other apps aren’t in use
* Read-only Twitter access
* Pandora access
* Epicurious – A huge library of recipes
* Weatherbug
* A news feed via Associated Press

Samsung’s New Line of Microwave Ovens

These microwave ovens were a 2012 “CES Innovations Award” winner in the eco-design category. This over the range model features:

* Energy-saving LED lighting
* Eco Mode, which reduces phantom power usage
* Samsung’s proprietary easy to clean enamel interior

The Flex Duo Oven

The Flex Duo Oven, which starts off with almost 6 cubic feet of cooking space, can be divided into two separate ovens using Samsung’s Smart Divider Technology. This allows for preparation of two different dishes at different temperatures with no intermixing of aromas.

An induction cook top, using magnets to heat pots and pans, heats meals quickly and more evenly than either gas or electric models. The flexible configuration of the cooktop also allows for efficient cooking with larger pots and pans that would not fit on standard cooktops.

Kitchen High Tech with New Samsung Products

Refrigerators can now do a lot more than keep your food cold and keep your ice tray full. Specifically, the most exiting of the new Samsung products for the kitchen are their new refrigerators that are supported by Wi-Fi and offer 8 apps that range from social media to monitoring the weather.

The refrigerator apps are accessed using an LCD screen that measures an easy to view 8 inches, located above the exterior ice and water dispenser. Samsung has designed a handful of the apps, while the balance of them comes from familiar sites from around the web. Here is a description of the 8 apps, some of which will be put into use on a daily basis for new owners:

  • Photos – This application is set up to have images uploaded directly from a Wi-Fi enabled camera or device. A slide can then be set up to run on the screen when other apps are not in use.
  • Calendar – This is a logical and useful app to track appointments, game times, meetings and more while pouring the morning cup of coffee. Notes are added to the Calendar using a touch screen that pops up when the Calendar app is selected.
  • Memos – Like the Calendar, having a Memos application on the fridge puts it in a convenient place where family members can see what’s needed at the store, when dinner will be served, etc. Notes are done by touch screen on this app as well.
  • Epicurious – This is a library of recipes that can be searched by either a keyword (ex. lasagna) or a list of ingredients. The ingredient search comes in very handy in situations where the refrigerator has a scattering of different food items.
  • Weatherbug – This app provides current weather conditions as well as forecasts.
  • AP Newswire – This allows for news surfing while in the kitchen
  • Pandora – This app doesn’t allow for customization of radio channels directly, but it can be done via a mobile device or through your desktop computer and then uploaded to the refrigerator app.
  • Twitter – Like the Pandora app, the Twitter refrigerator app doesn’t allow for interaction likes posting Tweets, etc. You can log in to read ongoing threads but you’ll have to hit your smart phone to participate.

As the innovations in new Samsung products like the LCD refrigerator continue, the role of appliances will expand from that of a kitchen tool to one that facilitates connections with the family and the web. For more information, visit: http://jessupsappliances.com/index.html
